DANCE AHEAD CIC

WORK WITH US

Dance Ahead CIC partners with towns, schools, venues and community organisations to design and deliver artist-led cultural experiences. Each programme is adaptable, place-responsive and grounded in collaboration — shaped to meet the needs of your space and community.

Our programmes are modular and scalable, ranging from one-day activations to longer-term residencies and touring productions. We work flexibly across rural, coastal and urban contexts, designing experiences that respond to the character of each place. Whether you are seeking visible public engagement or sustained community development, we shape work that aligns with your ambitions, timeline and resources.

For Town Centres & Civic Spaces

We activate underused public space through participatory installations and site-responsive performance.

Designed to:

  • Increase footfall and dwell time in public spaces
  • Animate underused or transitional environments
  • Foster intergenerational participation and shared experience
  • Contribute to regeneration through visible, creative activation

Example models:

  • Do the Doodle
  • Dancing Spaces: Echoes of Place
“Dance Ahead stopped shoppers in their tracks… transforming a café setting into a stage. It created a real buzz and generated social content and engagement.”
— Nicola Green, Marketing Manager, The Lanes
